Its modular ID card printer design makes it easy to upgrade from single- to dual-sided printing, add lamination or integrate smart card and magnetic stripe encoding as security needs grow.

The printer’s custom overlay watermark feature allows organizations to embed a transparent logo or text watermark directly into each card — a cost-effective alternative to holographic overlaminates that inherently thwarts counterfeiting. Combined with built-in resin scramble data protection and AES-256 encryption, the DTC1500 strengthens card program security without incurring additional costs.
